All of us at I-92 WLWI love our pets, and know so many loving dogs and cats at the Humane Society of Elmore County would love to have their forever home with a loving family. That’s why we’re stepping up to create awareness with the Pet of the Week campaign. Sponsored by My Montgomery Vet.
Here’s our latest Pet of the Week! The shelter shares, “Cubbie is a most awesome gal – 4 yrs, 9 months old. Adopted from us as a pup and sadly found as a stray in an entirely different city and the adopter could not be contacted. This silly girl is about 45 lbs, great with other dogs and children, always has a big smile on her face. She LOVES water and will make a mess so best get her her own kiddie pool and figure on a muddy spot in the yard in this heat. She is playful but not hyper – just a wonderful happy-go-lucky dog.”
The adoption fees are $100 for dogs and $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian.
