All of us at I-92 WLWI love our pets, and know so many loving dogs and cats at the Humane Society of Elmore County would love to have their forever home with a loving family. That’s why we’re stepping up to create awareness with the Pet of the Week campaign. Sponsored by My Montgomery Vet.
Here’s our latest Pet of the Week! The shelter shares, “Paris is a female Lab mix, almost seven-months-old, only about 40 lbs so not getting a lot bigger. She was brought to us as a stray and has grown up in our Shelter. Paris is a tad shy at first but very loving and sweet and dreams of a family to call her own for Christmas. She is great with other dogs and cats, loves everyone.”
The adoption fees are $100 for dogs and $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian.
