All of us at I-92 WLWI love our pets, and know so many loving dogs and cats at the Humane Society of Elmore County would love to have their forever home with a loving family. That’s why we’re stepping up to create awareness with the Pet of the Week campaign. Sponsored by My Montgomery Vet.
Here’s our latest Pet of the Week! The shelter shares, “Elsa is a seven-year old female yellow Lab, about 50 lbs. She is an incredibly sweet gal whose owner was unable to properly care for her anymore. She is great with other dogs and cats, and we know she would love children to call her own. Unsure if she is housetrained but bet she will figure that out almost immediately given the chance. Elsa would love nothing more that being with a family that includes her in all their activities and she would adore being inside, hogging her part of your couch.”
The adoption fees are $100 for dogs and $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian.
