All of us at I-92 WLWI love our pets, and know so many loving dogs and cats at the Humane Society of Elmore County would love to have their forever home with a loving family. That’s why we’re stepping up to create awareness with the Pet of the Week campaign. Sponsored by My Montgomery Vet.
Here’s our latest Pet of the Week! The shelter shares, “Door Dash (because he ate the neighbors Door Dash delivery) is an eleven-month-old male Lab mix, about 50 lbs. He is a very loving and sweet dog, great with female dogs, cats (likes to play with them so some might not like), children & even chickens. House and crate-trained so the perfect dog for most any family – just keep your food deliveries out of reach.”
The adoption fees are $100 for dogs and $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian.
