All of us at I-92 WLWI love our pets, and know so many loving dogs and cats at the Humane Society of Elmore County would love to have their forever home with a loving family. That’s why we’re stepping up to create awareness with the Pet of the Week campaign. Sponsored by My Montgomery Vet.
Here’s our latest Pet of the Week! The shelter shares, “Ellie is 6 1/2-years-old, female, about 40 lbs so not a big gal. She is very sweet, loves to give kisses and likes being brushed. She loves toys but is also quite laid back. Housetrained, good with dogs but can get a little bossy over food – which shows as she could stand to lose a few pounds. She knows sit and loves squeaky toys.”
The adoption fees are $100 for dogs and $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian.
