All of us at I-92 WLWI love our pets, and know so many loving dogs and cats at the Humane Society of Elmore County would love to have their forever home with a loving family. That’s why we’re stepping up to create awareness with the Pet of the Week campaign. Sponsored by My Montgomery Vet.
Here’s our latest Pet of the Week! The shelter shares, “Saki is a Pit/Shepherd mix, female, seven-months-old, and about 40 lbs so not going to get a lot bigger. She came into us as one of an unwanted litter and has done fantastic in her foster home (so not here in our Shelter). Saki is sweet, loving, playful, great with other dogs & knows about using a doggy door! She is ready to become a loved member of a family she can call her own.”
The adoption fees are $100 for dogs and $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian.
