Montgomery’s oldest running event returns with the 42nd Jubilee 8K and 2M Runs on USATF certified courses from Montgomery’s Old Alabama Town on Saturday, May 15, 2021!
The River Region Runners’ Club is once again proud to plan, organize, and host. This year’s run will raise funds for a charity designated by the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) in support of the Montgomery Police Department (MPD), e.g., Police Relief Fund. The MPD, through the FOP Lodge 29, is the major sponsor for this year’s run.
The 8K running event attracts runners from all over the River Region, Alabama, and beyond! In addition to the 8K, there will be a 2-mile run in honor of Peggy McLendon Lanier. I-92 WLWI is a proud supporter and sponsor. I-92’s Greg Thomas will be there, how about you?
