All of us at I-92 WLWI love our pets, and know so many loving dogs and cats at the Humane Society of Elmore County would love to have their forever home with a loving family. That’s why we’re stepping up to create awareness with the Pet of the Week campaign. Sponsored by My Montgomery Vet.
Here’s our latest Pet of the Week! The shelter shares, “Hibiscus is a male Lab mix pup (mom is a Chocolate Lab), 6 1/2 months old, about 40 lbs. He is the last pup from a big litter still with us which is sad as he is a great pup. Hibiscus loves everyone, does like to jump into our kiddie pool in this hot weather, great with other dogs, has fun with zoomies then its all about a treat and love!”
The adoption fees are $100 for dogs and $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian.
