All of us at I-92 WLWI love our pets, and know so many loving dogs and cats at the Humane Society of Elmore County would love to have their forever home with a loving family. That’s why we’re stepping up to create awareness with the Pet of the Week campaign. Sponsored by My Montgomery Vet.
Here’s our latest Pet of the Week! The shelter shares, “Ducky is a male Lab looking mix, one-year old as of late Feb, 45 lbs. He originally came to us as a stray, was adopted and very loved until a sad turn in his owner’s life caused him to come back to us through no fault of his own. Ducky is great with children, dots and cats and just wants to have a family that will love and spoil him and that he can call his own.”
The adoption fees are $100 for dogs and $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian.
