All of us at I-92 WLWI love our pets, and know so many loving dogs and cats at the Humane Society of Elmore County would love to have their forever home with a loving family. That’s why we’re stepping up to create awareness with the Pet of the Week campaign. Sponsored by My Montgomery Vet.
Here’s our latest Pet of the Week! The shelter shares, “Bark Simpson is a 1 1/2-year-old male maybe Lab/Shepherd mix, 54 lbs, handsome as can be! He was found as a stray and brought to us. He is very treat motivated, good with dogs; knows sit, shake and down, and wants to be a big lap dog. Bark Simpson does have a lot of energy, and yes this boy can talk, and loudly!”
The adoption fees are $100 for dogs and $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian.
