All of us at I-92 WLWI love our pets, and know so many loving dogs and cats at the Humane Society of Elmore County would love to have their forever home with a loving family. That’s why we’re stepping up to create awareness with the Pet of the Week campaign. Sponsored by My Montgomery Vet.
Here’s our latest Pet of the Week! The shelter shares, “Sparky is a 1-2 year old male, about 65 lbs & quite striking with his one vivid blue eye. He came to us as a stray never reclaimed which is sad as he is very sweet and loving & great with other dogs. He loves treats, doesn’t know what to do with toys and seems to know sit, shake, down & stay. He actually acts like he would prefer to be a couch potato.”
The adoption fees are $100 for dogs and $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian.
