All of us at I-92 WLWI love our pets, and know so many loving dogs and cats at the Humane Society of Elmore County would love to have their forever home with a loving family. That’s why we’re stepping up to create awareness with the Pet of the Week campaign. Sponsored by My Montgomery Vet.
Here’s our latest Pet of the Week! The shelter shares, “Kitty is a 2 1/2-year-old female Pit mix, 50-60 lbs, found as a stray, brought to us and never reclaimed which is such a shame as she is just a love! Kitty craves attention, loves playing and does have a fair amount of energy to burn so would do best with an active owner. She is good with other dogs who are as rambunctious as her. And Kitty just LOVES any cat she meets, hence her name!”
The adoption fees are $100 for dogs and $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian.
