All of us at I-92 WLWI love our pets, and know so many loving dogs and cats at the Humane Society of Elmore County would love to have their forever home with a loving family. That’s why we’re stepping up to create awareness with the Pet of the Week campaign.
Here’s our latest Pet of the Week! The shelter shares, “Omen is a male Pit mix, five-months old & about 35 lbs. He is an incredibly sweet boy, saved as a stray by a top notch pet lover who made sure he saw a Vet and got his vaccinations all on time. But he couldn’t stay there forever so is now with us to find his forever home. Good with children, dogs and cats; has a great start to his housetraining. Playful and active – loves everyone.”
The adoption fees are $100 for dogs and $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian.
