All of us at I-92 WLWI love our pets, and know so many loving dogs and cats at the Humane Society of Elmore County would love to have their forever home with a loving family. That’s why we’re stepping up to create awareness with the Pet of the Week campaign.
Here’s our latest Pet of the Week! The shelter shares, “HoneyBun is a two-year old female, about 50 lbs, looks like a possible Heeler/Lab type mix. She is a sweet gal, happy to get attention but also happy to do her own thing. Saying no to young children as she takes treats from us like a hungry piranha so have to watch your fingers. Good with other dogs, will do best with room to hang out outside when she wants to do her own thing. Active gal.”
The adoption fees are $100 for dogs and $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian.
