All of us at I-92 WLWI love our pets, and know so many loving dogs and cats at the Humane Society of Elmore County would love to have their forever home with a loving family. That’s why we’re stepping up to create awareness with the Pet of the Week campaign. Sponsored by My Montgomery Vet.
Here’s our latest Pet of the Week! The shelter shares, “Houdini is a male yellow Lab mix, looks to be about four-years-old and about 70 lbs. He came to us as a stray via Animal Control and, sadly, no one ever came for him. Houdini is a big hunka luv, incredibly sweet and does need a good fence to keep him safely at home. He is great with his female kennel partner.”
The adoption fees are $100 for dogs and $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian.
