All of us at I-92 WLWI love our pets, and know so many loving dogs and cats at the Humane Society of Elmore County would love to have their forever home with a loving family. That’s why we’re stepping up to create awareness with the Pet of the Week campaign.
Here’s our latest Pet of the Week, sponsored by Pet Urgent Care of Montgomery! The shelter shares, “Baby Girl is a female Pit/Terrier mix, five-months-old and about 35 lbs. She should be in the 50 lb range when fully grown. She has grown up with dogs of all sizes and gets along with everyone. Loves her toys, craves attention and is a very loving girl. Also, happy to play and then spend some chill time with her person. Let’s find that forever family for her so Thanksgiving week can be HER special week for the rest of her life.”
The adoption fees are $100 for dogs and $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian.
