All of us at I-92 WLWI love our pets, and know so many loving dogs and cats at the Humane Society of Elmore County would love to have their forever home with a loving family. That’s why we’re stepping up to create awareness with the Pet of the Week campaign.
Here’s our latest Pet of the Week! The shelter shares, “Waylon is a five-year old Husky/Corgi mix, male, about 45lbs and too cute with his Husky head and short stubby legs. Waylon is good with other dogs but brought to us for having a high prey drive where other type animals are concerned – cats, livestock. For another dog let’s stick with dogs his size and larger to be safe. He is a happy fella, very strong and fast. Loves people!”
The adoption fees are $100 for dogs and $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian.
