All of us at I-92 WLWI love our pets, and know so many loving dogs and cats at the Humane Society of Elmore County would love to have their forever home with a loving family. That’s why we’re stepping up to create awareness with the Pet of the Week campaign.
Here’s our latest Pet of the Week! The shelter shares, “Clair is a Shepherd mix, seven-months old and only about 45 lbs so not a big gal. She was found as a stray and brought to us but no one ever came for her. She is a very sweet dog that LOVES to play and does have some extra energy to channel. The bowls in our kennels get quite a workout after breakfast every morning! Clair is smart, willing to please, is very respondent to treats and loves attention.”
The adoption fees are $100 for dogs & $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian.
