All of us at I-92 WLWI love our pets, and know so many loving dogs and cats at the Humane Society of Elmore County would love to have their forever home with a loving family. That’s why we’re stepping up to create awareness with the Pet of the Week campaign.

Here’s our latest Pet of the Week! The shelter shares, “Piper is a two-year-old Australian Cattle Dog/Dachshund mix female, 25 pounds- so a great size!  She is good with children and other dogs, is housetrained and wants to be a lap dog.  She is definitely a house dog but does have a tendency to be destructive in the house if left unattended, so crate-training and some appropriate chew toys might be in order..”
