All of us at I-92 WLWI love our pets, and know so many loving dogs and cats at the Humane Society of Elmore County would love to have their forever home with a loving family. That’s why we’re stepping up to create awareness with the Pet of the Week campaign.
Here’s our latest Pet of the Week! The shelter shares, “Rocket is a 2-3 year-old male, about 30 lbs, rather light boned so perhaps has something like Whippet in him but we are guessing. Rocket is VERY SHY when he first meets you and quite scared of men sadly. Once he is more comfortable with you he loves tummy rubs and being petted. Rocket will need a quiet type home and a gentle touch to build his confidence. He is supposedly good with older children. He is fine with other dogs that aren’t too over the top energy wise. We think he is the kind of dog that will just blossom in the right home for him.”
