All of us at I-92 WLWI love our pets, and know so many loving dogs and cats at the Humane Society of Elmore County would love to have their forever home with a loving family. That’s why we’re stepping up to create awareness with the Pet of the Week campaign.
Here’s our latest Pet of the Week! The shelter shares, “Big Jack is definitely a BIG boy at about 85 lbs and he is a Lab/Mastiff mix. He is six years old and is one awesome dog but like we say on some, he is a “LOT of Dog!” He pulls like a bull elephant on a leash so be forewarned. Once he blows off some energy he calms down and really is a great dog. He knows sit and loves attention. He has lived around children, unsure on cats and on dogs will say female dog only please.”
Adoption fees are $100 for dogs & $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian.
