All of us at I-92 WLWI love our pets, and know so many loving dogs and cats at the Humane Society of Elmore County would love to have their forever home with a loving family. That’s why we’re stepping up to create awareness with the Pet of the Week campaign.

Here’s our latest Pet of the Week! The shelter shares, “Buck is a one-year old male Border Collie/Shepherd looking mix, about 55 lbs. He is an energetic but well-mannered boy that gets along well with dogs and cats. Mostly housetrained and cratetrained, needs a good fence to keep him safely at home. Buck would make a great running, hiking and camping buddy for an active owner.”

Adoption fees are $100 for dogs & $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian.
