All of us at I-92 WLWI love our pets, and know so many loving dogs and cats at the Humane Society of Elmore County would love to have their forever home with a loving family. That’s why we’re stepping up to create awareness with the Pet of the Week campaign.

Holly is our latest Pet of the Week. The shelter shares, “Veronica is a nine-month old female Lab/Pit mix, only about 40 lbs. She is a social butterfly that is full of energy and loves meeting everyone, good with other dogs. She doesn’t seem to know what to do with toys so would you like to teach her how fun they can be? Veronica is NOT good with cats.”

Adoption fees are $100 for dogs & $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian.
