As the state of Alabama takes steps to safely reopen, the Humane Society of Elmore county is once again making pets available for adoption through new steps outlined before. Amazing pets like, our Pet of the Week, Reesie!
The shelter shares with us:
“Reesie is about five years old and just a gorgeous gal, about 40 lbs. She is very low key and loving. Adult only home meaning no children under say 15 yrs old please. She does get quite protective of HER family and home so a good fence is required. She is house trained and would make a wonderful inside dog for a loving couple or single person.”
“Our adoption fees are $100 for dogs & $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian.”
