8th Annual Jamey Johnson Homecoming Concert at Montgomery’s Riverwalk Stadium

Singer, songwriter Jamey Johnson returns to Montgomery, Alabama for his 8th Annual Homecoming concert. Jamey, along with the Nikki Mitchell Foundation, are proud to welcome to their stage country singer, songwriter, actor, and record producer Toby Keith. In addition to the exciting lineup announcement, the concert is moving to Riverwalk Stadium, home of the Montgomery Biscuits. Jamey Johnson along with his guests Toby Keith, Randy Houser, Lee Brice and more will take the stage on Sunday (October 6th), at 7pm, in downtown Montgomery.

Also scheduled to appear, Randy Houser and Lee Brice. I-92 WLWI is proud to support this party for the cause!

Tickets to the show are available in person at the Montgomery Biscuits box office or online at www.biscuitsbaseball.com. Last year the Homecoming event raised $421,000 for the Nikki Mitchell Foundation to help fight pancreatic cancer. In addition, the foundation will continue their long-term partnership with the Montgomery area Marine Toys for Tots by accepting Toy donations at the gates.

“We couldn’t be more excited to see Jamey, Toby and friends at Riverwalk Stadium. The money will be used for our direct patient services program, which provides monthly financial aid to pancreatic cancer patients, and for Pancreatic Cancer Research Awards,” says Rhonda Miles, president of the Nikki Mitchell Foundation.

ABOUT THE NIKKI MITCHELL FOUNDATION:

The foundation’s namesake, Nikki Mitchell passed away in July 2013 of pancreatic cancer. She served as President and CEO of Waylon Jennings’ music for more than 23 years. During her tenure there, she made history of her own with the Bridge of Wings flight in 1998, where she circumnavigated the northern hemisphere as co-captain in a single engine aircraft. In December 2010, Nikki was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Taking the bull by the horns she consulted with renowned medical professionals around the country and her zeal for life throughout her 31-month battle never diminished.
