WLWI-FM Official Rules
“Jet-Away to Montego Bay”
A complete copy of these rules can be obtained at the offices of <WLWI-FM>, Cumulus Broadcasting, Inc., <1 Commerce Street, Suite 300-Montogmery, Alabama 36104> during normal business hours Monday through Friday or by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the above address.
1. No purchase is necessary. Purchase does not increase the odds of winning.
2. Must be at least 18 years of age in order to participate and win.
3. All contests are open to the general public nationwide, except for employees, agents, subsidiaries and affiliates of <WLWI-FM>, other participating Cumulus stations, Cumulus Broadcasting, Inc., participating sponsors, their immediate families, household members and all other radio industry employees. To be eligible listeners must have a working telephone number; both, when qualifying, and at the time they are selected as a prize winner. Individuals with disconnected phone numbers that have been changed without a forwarding phone number will be bypassed during the random winner selection process.
4. An individual may win an on-going major contest only once per six-month period unless otherwise specifically stated. An individual may win other seasonal or one-time contests only once for the duration of the contest.
5. The contest will begin March 1, 2010, and will run through April 30, 2010
6. The <WLWI-FM> Market level Grand prize –A Trip for two to Montego Bay Jamaica, including hotel and Air Fare accommodations.
Odds of winning are based on the number entries received. There will be no more than 135 Qualifiers.
7. Listeners can register for the contest by listening for his/her cue to call, the correct caller will be qualified for the drawing. The winner will be chosen at a random drawing to be held in market on May 3, 2010. All qualifiers will be notified in advance of the time and location of the drawing, and if there is a specific Winner’s Party at a location TBD.
8. The Cumulus Broadcasting representative conducting the contest will determine all winners; their decisions and interpretations of these rules shall be final.
9. All State, Local, Federal and or other taxes, duties, tariffs, title fees, licensing fees, or other fees for prizes awarded become the sole responsibility of the winner. All those who win a prize / prizes valued at over $600 will be issued an IRS form 1099 to report their winnings.
10. All prizes are awarded “as is.” Prizes are nontransferable and cannot be exchanged for other trips, prizes or cash.
11. <WLWI-FM> shall not be responsible for the failure of participating sponsors to deliver prizes as promised.
12. All entrants and winners agree that <WLWI-FM>, Cumulus Broadcasting, Inc., their affiliates, and sponsors shall have no liability and shall be held blameless for any injury, misfortune, or damage to either persons or property insured by entering, participating in, winning, or losing any contest by use or non-use of any prize received.
13. All qualifying prizes, if any, must be claimed in person at <WLWI-FM> during regular business hours and within 30 business days of winning, excluding holidays. After such time, ownership of said prize reverts to Cumulus Broadcasting, Inc., to be disposed of at their discretion. The winner then loses all claims and rights to said prize.
14. All entry blanks, forms devices and materials, as well as all the information contained on or within, gathered during the course of entry, shall become the sole property of Cumulus Broadcasting, Inc., their affiliates and sponsors to be used, disposed of or destroyed at the discretion of Cumulus Broadcasting, Inc., their affiliates and sponsors.
15. All winners agree that Cumulus Broadcasting, Inc., their affiliates and sponsors may broadcast or publish their name, city of residence, photo, video tape, film or any other likeness, including their voice, recorded or live, for any reason Cumulus Broadcasting, Inc., their affiliates and sponsors deems necessary without compensation. All winners will be further required to hold Cumulus Broadcasting, Inc., their affiliates and sponsors, blameless and without liability for such publication, broadcast or use.
16. <WLWI-FM> reserves the right to end a contest at any time upon advanced notice to the public
17. <WLWI-FM> reserves the right to limit the number of times an individual may enter a contest or drawing.
18. <WLWI-FM> reserves the right to require contestants to be present at drawings in order to win their prize.
19. Violations of any of these rules or attempts to win any contest by fraud, deception, or cheating shall be grounds for the station to disqualify that individual from participating in all current and future contests and events at the sole discretion of the station, as well as forfeiture of any prize or prizes won by fraudulent means. 20. Transportation to all winners parties is the responsibility of the qualifier. WLWI-FM and Cumulus Montgomery WILL NOT PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION TO ANY EVENT.
