WLWI-FM Official Rules
“2011 Trip a Day in May”

A complete copy of these rules can be obtained at the offices of <WLWI-FM>, Cumulus Broadcasting, Inc., <1 Commerce Street, Suite 300, Montgomery, Alabama,   36104> during normal business hours Monday through Friday or by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the above address.

No purchase is necessary.  Purchase does not increase the odds of winning.

2.    Must be at least 18 years of age in order to participate and win.
 
All contests are open to the general public nationwide, except for employees, agents, subsidiaries and affiliates of < WLWI -FM>, other participating Cumulus stations, Cumulus Broadcasting, Inc., participating sponsors, their immediate families, household members and all other radio industry employees. To be eligible listeners must have a working telephone number; both, when qualifying, and at the time they are selected as a prize winner. Individuals with disconnected phone numbers that have been changed without a forwarding phone number will be bypassed during the random winner selection process.

An individual may win an on-going major contest only once per six-month period unless otherwise specifically stated.  An individual may win other seasonal or one-time contests only once for the duration of the contest.

The contest will begin April 4, 2011, and will run through May 31, 2011. The < WLWI -FM> Market level Grand prize – a 3 day hotel stay at the Holiday Inn Sun Spree Resort in Panama City Beach, Florida.

Odds of winning are based on the number entries received.  1 Winner will be chosen, each week-day, Monday-Friday, May 2 through May 31, 2011, after completing the contest described below.

Listeners can register for the contest by visiting any of the participating sponsors and completing a registration form.  Qualifying will be conducted from April 5, 2011 to April 29, 2011 at noon.  No entries will be accepted after April 29, 2011.  Participating Sponsors are:  Guardian Credit Union, H&H Pools, Southern Union State Community College, United Food and Fuel, Fine Line Engravers, Charlotte’s Jewelry, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Badcock and More/Prattville Pickers, Wetumpka Tire and Auto, Montgomery Lasik, Pink Polkadots.

Each week-day (Monday through Friday), May 2 to May 31, 2011, representatives from WLWI-FM will draw a name from the pool of qualifiers collected April 5-29, 2011, on location.  Names will be drawn at random starting at 10:40 a.m.  The name drawn will be announced on-air.  The qualifier will then have 9:23, nine minutes and twenty-three seconds to call in to WLWI-FM at 334-860-9200.  Qualifiers calling back in the 9 minute, 23 second window will win the described trip, if their name has been announced.  If the first named qualifier does not call back in the 9 minute 23 second window, a second name will be drawn at 11:40 a.m. and the same rules will apply to win. Subsequent draws will be conducted each hour, at 40 minutes after the hour until a winner is awarded.  The last chance to win will be at 5:40 p.m., each week day.

The Cumulus Broadcasting representative conducting the contest will determine all winners; their decisions and interpretations of these rules shall be final.

All State, Local, Federal and or other taxes, duties, tariffs, title fees, licensing fees, or other fees for prizes awarded become the sole responsibility of the winner.  All those who win a prize / prizes valued at over $600 will be issued an IRS form 1099 to report their winnings.

All prizes are awarded “as is.”   Prizes are nontransferable and cannot be exchanged for other trips, prizes or cash.

< WLWI -FM> shall not be responsible for the failure of participating sponsors to deliver prizes as promised.

All entrants and winners agree that < WLWI -FM>, Cumulus Broadcasting, Inc., their affiliates, and sponsors shall have no liability and shall be held blameless for any injury, misfortune, or damage to either persons or property insured by entering, participating in, winning, or losing any contest by use or non-use of any prize received.

All daily prizes, must be claimed in person at < WLWI -FM> at the above address, during regular business hours and within 30 business days of winning, excluding holidays.  After such time, ownership of said prize reverts to Cumulus Broadcasting, Inc., to be disposed of at their discretion.  The winner then loses all claims and rights to said prize.


All entry blanks, forms devices and materials, as well as all the information contained on or within, gathered during the course of entry, shall become the sole property of Cumulus Broadcasting, Inc., their affiliates and sponsors to be used, disposed of or destroyed at the discretion of Cumulus Broadcasting, Inc., their affiliates and sponsors.

All winners agree that Cumulus Broadcasting, Inc., their affiliates and sponsors may broadcast or publish their name, city of residence, photo, video tape, film or any other likeness, including their voice, recorded or live, for any reason Cumulus Broadcasting, Inc., their affiliates and sponsors deems necessary without compensation.  All winners will be further required to hold Cumulus Broadcasting, Inc., their affiliates and sponsors, blameless and without liability for such publication, broadcast or use.

< WLWI -FM> reserves the right to end a contest at any time upon advanced notice to the public

< WLWI -FM> reserves the right to limit the number of times an individual may enter a contest or drawing.

< WLWI -FM> reserves the right to require contestants to be present at drawings in order to win their prize.

Violations of any of these rules or attempts to win any contest by fraud, deception, or cheating shall be grounds for the station to disqualify that individual from participating in all current and future contests and events at the sole discretion of the station, as well as forfeiture of any prize or prizes won by fraudulent means.
