I-92 proudly supports the Humane Society of Elmore County and their effort to find forever homes for loving pets. In the spotlight as our Pet of the Week is Tyra!

The shelter shares with us, “Tyra is a four-year old female Lab mix, about 50 lbs that came to us as a stray and no one ever came looking. She is a little on the shy side at first but wants to get close for reassurance and then she is a big lovebug. Once comfortable with you she is ready for play time. Tyra is good with other dogs too.”

Humane Society of Elmore County adoption fees are $100 for dogs and $50 for cats under one-year-old; cats over one-year-old can be adopted by approved adopters for a fee of their choosing. This adoption fee completely covers the mandatory spay or neuter, basic immunizations, de-worming, microchip, heartworm check for dogs, rabies vaccination if old enough, free health exam with your participating veterinarian.
